Tips for a goodnight sleep
Hi everyone,
So as we all know, mental health in the uk at the moment is quiet bad sometimes. I speak from experience when I say, I have real problems with it as I know a lot of my friends and colleagues suffer with it.
One of the ways we can benefit our mental health is how we choose to act. If we get a goodnight sleep. The chances of our mental health getting better will be a lot higher.
I know a lot of friends of mine and I suffer with sleep problems, so here are my top tips:
1) get yourself some nice comfy pyjamas or a onesie that u feel safe and comfortable in
2) make sure u have a set evening routine so u start it at the same time every night so u can settle
3) choose some nice films u can watch until you need to get to sleep
4) Once it’s sleep time, from personal experience, I find that listening to ocean waves on my phone Spotify really does help to calm the mind.
Ocean wave music is one of the therapeutic things to listen to at night as it helps you to just calm down whilst you are drifting off to sleep.
If you have a favourite teddy bear or a soft toy you like to have with you at bedtime, make sure you grab this when you do your evening routine as it will help you settle
Hope this helps some of you!
Let me know how you are all getting on,
Regards
